After extensive product reviews, in January this year, Golden Circle selected Open Windows as their preferred Contract Management Software solution vendor.
Golden Circle, an Australian owned company, which has been producing great tasting, nutritious food and beverages since 1947, was looking for a homegrown IT solution to manage their contractual information. Open Windows was the clear choice as the best solution and most importantly; local software development and support.
Mr. Michael Davis, Golden Circle’s Legal Advisor, stated that “We thoroughly researched the various software solutions in the market place and found that Open Windows was the most comprehensive, user-friendly solution, and we have been very impressed by the local support and training offered.”
Golden Circle’s main requirement was to create an easily accessible electronic central repository for their contracts, moving from numerous spreadsheets and ‘hard copy’ contracts in filing cabinets. A streamlined process to manage their compliance and risk management requirements was also imperative.
Driven by both Legal and Procurement departments, Golden Circle could see the benefits of a Contract Management system, particularly in the pricing review and budgeting areas. There are plans to use the software for future tendering processes, supplier contact documentation and contract development.
Golden Circle will utilise the Open Windows software for contracts with their suppliers, customers, and internal parties, and will initially be managing around 500 contracts in the system with a value of over $10 million. Golden Circle expects to see an immediate and dramatic improvement in internal process efficiencies, and a reduction in current sourcing and administration costs.
